The Academic Progress Check gives parents of younger students a clear picture of exactly where their student stands — and what to do next.
Here’s how it works: your student takes a STAR Assessment from home during a one-week testing window, then we schedule a 30-minute phone call. During the call, I will review their scores and report to you on their progress, making recommendations based on the results and anything you share about your student.
You’ll get tailored guidance: what to remediate, what to strengthen, and specific curriculum recommendations that fit how your student learns. If you have questions about where your student stands and need help directing their education, this session will equip you to guide through elementary and middle school.

A quick call, by phone, for Q&A — perfect when you just need answers. If you have a bunch of questions and you keep getting conflicting or confusing answers from other sources, I will provide factual information to give you clarity and direction.
60-Minute Sessions
A full hour, by Zoom or phone, for planning and strategizing your homeschool path. During a 60-minute session I can help with planning, strategizing, and provide Common App, STARS, dual enrollment and college application support.
College Application Essay Feedback
The essay is your student’s chance to show colleges who they are. In 30 minutes on Zoom, we make sure it does exactly that.

The Path to Graduation Seminar
How to Homeschool from High School to College
This seminar is designed to bring clarity and focus to your homeschool as you look towards high school and beyond! You will learn all the things that you need to know to confidently homeschool your child through the high school years, preparing them for their future goals, while keeping their abilities and talents in mind.
The seminar covers homeschool and PEP students. The presentation lasts around two hours (with short breaks), followed by Q&A and discussion time — and I’m happy to stay longer to make sure all of your questions are answered.
Started in 2020 at the request of a member of my Facebook group, FLVS Homeschooling Parents, this seminar has been offered continuously for six years! Like a parent orientation for homeschooling high school, you’ll leave equipped and inspired to take advantage of all homeschooling in Florida has to offer.
