The vast majority of templates available on the internet are outdated, too cluttered, and not flexible enough for the needs of homeschooled students. Every transcript I produce is prepared by me, a college admissions advisor who has served thousands of homeschool families since 2005 — and who knows exactly what universities are looking for. Frequently Asked Questions
What makes a homeschool transcript “official”?
In a Florida home education or PEP program, the parent is the school administrator — so an accurate, complete, well-formatted transcript signed by you is official. As the school official of your homeschool, your signature is what makes it official. That, and the words “Official High School Transcript” are the required elements.
My student takes dual enrollment or FLVS courses. Do those go on the homeschool transcript?
Yes. The high school transcript must include all Dual enrollment, FLVS, co-op, and parent-taught courses. Since your homeschool is the school of record, all the high school credits earned by the student while homeschooling must appear on their official transcript.
My student was previously enrolled in a public or private high school. Do those credits go on the homeschool transcript?
Yes. Since your homeschool is the school of record, all the high school credits earned by the student while homeschooling must appear on their official transcript, even those earned before they transferred to your homeschool or PEP program.
What about high school credit earned in middle school? Does that appear on the high school transcript?
Yes — all bona-fide high school credit, even credit earned before 9th grade, should appear on the high school transcript. If the student did the work, they deserve the credit. All high school credit counts – regardless of when it was earned.
Can I submit my student’s transcript via Parchment?
Homeschooled students in Florida are not required to use Parchment to submit their official high school transcripts to Florida state university system schools, so using Parchment is not necessary. Every school will accept an official transcript sent via email from the school counselor (parent) of the homeschool directly to the admissions office (ideally directly to the admissions counselor that works with all the homeschooled applicants).
My student hopes to play college sports. Can you help with NCAA eligibility?
Yes. My services include NCAA compliant templates. Just let me know ahead of time that you have a student athlete that is planning to apply to a D1, D2, or D3 school. Additionally, my Transcript Template Pack includes an NCAA subject-based and year-based templates, and I offer an NCAA-focused review session for athletes’ transcripts.
We already started building our own transcript. Which service do we need?
Schedule a Transcript Review Session — we’ll go through it together, calculate your GPAs, and polish it for college applications. The transcript review will take you through my expert critique and you’ll leave with all your questions answered.
My student is already a junior or senior. Is it too late?
Not at all. The Complete Transcript Service covers everything from 9th grade forward, no matter when we start — and grade-level transcripts are available if you only need records through your student’s current year.
Can I pay with my student’s PEP or FES-UA scholarship?
